Event: Discussion with Alison Hulme about ‘On the Commodity Trail’, Friday 13 March (London)

Nico Macdonald will be hosting a discussion with academic Alison Hulme about her new book ‘On the Commodity Trail’. 

The event takes place on Friday 13 March at 18:30 in central London, at new UK-based crowdfunding platform and hub CrowdShed:

Hulme is a Teaching Fellow at Royal Holloway, University of London. She holds a PhD in Cultural Studies and an MA in Anthropology and Cultural Politics from Goldsmiths, and a BA in Media Studies from Sussex University. Her other publications include the edited volume ‘China’s Changing Landscape of Consumerism’. Prior to academia she worked as a radio and TV presenter.
